Heart attack survivor, author and heart health educator, Eliz Greene draws on personal experience and hundreds of hours of interviews with female heart patients to provide heart healthy lifestyle strategies. Building on her background as an adaptive movement specialist, Eliz has developed an active lifestyle program to fit busy people of all abilities.

Are you engaged in life or just enduring it?
In Embrace Your Heart & Engage Your Life, Eliz walks participants through strategies to understand their heart risk factors, increase their daily activity, improve their diet and manage their stress. In informative, fun and touching 45 - 120 minute keynote presentation participants will:

  • Discover how to develop healthy and passionate lifestyles by making good choices, celebrating those choices and avoiding shame when they don’t succeed.
  • Learn how to engage their health by facing and understanding their risk of cardiovascular disease.
    Specifically how family history, age, ethnicity, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, obesity,
    smoking and stress impact health.
  • Hear tips on how to to reduce or eliminate risk through:
    • Developing an active lifestyle.
    • Eating Better
    • Managing Stress
  • Sort through the strategies and tips and choose one to implement.

This program is designed for community based women’s wellness luncheons and events. It is successful for audiences numbering 50 to 1000. Educational programs for healthcare professionals to compliment this
program are also available.

Why Women Have Balls
(alternative title Juggling Lessons for Life)

Are you going through life, at 90 miles-per-hour, with seven balls in the air -- and just hoping you’All be able to juggle the eighth as well?

Why Women Have Balls is a humorous and information packed program illuminating how women's strength lies in our ability to juggle our many responsibilities, but our health lies in our ability to juggle well. Eliz uses props and engaging stories to drive home her point.

In this 45 - 120 minute keynote presentation participants will:

  • Discover how the uniquely female ability to juggle our many demands affects health and passion.
  • Understand the compounding effect of stress on heart risk factors.
  • Learn to “Take a Bow” and release stress.
  • Gain strategies to choose well and juggle better.
  • Learn to give themselves credit and avoid seeking perfection.
  • Explore strategies to handle the difficult things life brings.
  • Sort through the strategies and tips and choose one to implement.

In a presentation tailored specifically for the event participants will:

  • Discover how to develop healthy and passionate lifestyles by making good choices, celebrating those choices and avoiding shame when they don’t succeed.
  • Learn how to engage their health by facing and understanding their risk of cardiovascular disease.
    Specifically how family history, age, ethnicity, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, obesity,
    smoking and stress impact health.
  • Learn specific strategies to reduce or eliminate risk through:
    • Developing an active lifestyle.
    • Eating Better
    • Managing Stress
  • Sort through the strategies and create a plan to implement at least one.

This program is designed for community based women’s wellness events, programs for nurses and employees. It is successful for audiences numbering 50 to 350. Educational programs for healthcare professionals to compliment this program are also available. Continuing education credit documentation is available upon request.
