April Fools’ Day continues to be a big hit in the Greene household! I knew we were in trouble when Clay started laughing to himself in the car last weekend. Yes, he’d thought of an idea so fun – he’d cracked himself up!

So, it turns out you can order a Gorilla costume from Target in March — nope, don’t have to wait for Halloween! After trying it on, we figured we shouldn’t wake the girls up in it (fearing they may wet the bed)!

So, I ran into their room declaring the electricity went out last night and they were late. Grace and Callie are now eight-years-old and are a bit more savvy about the tricks, so there was some “right Mama, sure” on the way down the steps.

Clay jumped out from behind the counter yelling “uug-ah buuug-ah” and the girls screamed! After much chasing and wrestling (and barking from Comet the Corgi Dog) there was just giggles.

Clay proceeded to read the paper, make blue pancakes, and eat breakfast — all in the Gorilla costume!

Fun morning! I got into the act by wearing the Gorilla mask as I walked the girls to school (and whipping up blue pancakes). The kids on the playground thought it was great fun too!

So, how are you embracing a little fun today? Laughter is great for your heart!
