Make your appointment!
you…it’s time to pay attention ladies!
I was shocked to learn only half of women who should get annual mammograms actually get them, even when their insurance pays for them. What’s the deal?
As we strive to make our hearts more healthy are we avoiding a simple test which could save our lives?
So, it isn’t my idea of a good time, but a mammogram is takes a short amount of time and is an essential part of engaging your health, especially for women who have had any type of chest surgery. Scar tissue from heart surgery can mask a lump, so regular mammograms are even more important.
Make yourself a priority, schedule your mammogram — and keep the appointment! The people who love and count on you want you to be healthy and around for a good long time. Take this small step to ensure your health.
