According to the Busy Woman’s Guide’s favorite Registered Dietitian, Jill Fleming, “The Acai Berry is great. Since it has gained so much publicity and the price has gone up, keep in mind that you can get the same benefits (improve your HDL, lower total cholesterol, antioxidants, prevent alzheimers, enhance weight loss, fiber) from blueberries.”
Is it a miracle food? No
