Today I have the honor of presenting to the Colgate Women’s Network as part of the Park Avenue “Live Better” program at the Colgate Palmolive headquarters in New York City. Colgate is celebrating women’s heart health and raising money for the American Heart Association. We’ll be rocking lunch time with the Busy Woman’s Guide to a Healthy Heart program. It is exciting to see the corporate wellness programs including an excellent array of healthy choices in the cafeteria. Woo Hoo for Colgate!
Were you at the program today? Please leave a comment below with your biggest take away or your “WHY”. Thanks!

What an amazing and inspiring event! I am wearing my pedometer today. Thank you for sharing your story and raising awareness on women’s heart health.
It was my pleasure Holly! Enjoy the pedometer 🙂
Thanks to your terrific session yesterday, I was able to have a conversation about healthy eating with my 8 year old this morning on the way to school. We talked about “grow” foods and it was a concept she (and I) could easily grasp and relate to. In addition, my 14 year old has made a date with me every weekend to “Just Dance” for an hour. So we are on our way to eating better and moving more. Now to work on the stress less : )
Thanks Jill – I love the Just Dance date!!
I enjoyed the Busy Woman’s Guide to a Healthy Heart seminar. Eliz is such an inspiration. She shared her knowledge and gave us her book, ” Busy Woman’s Guide to a Healthy Heart. ” Her fun, great personality came through as she shared her “miracle” story, which bought tears to my eyes several times. I feel that it’s never too late to start taking care of ourselves. Start! Do it today! Thanks Eliz for inspiring women to take care of their hearts so we can live healthier, longer lives!
Thank you Vilma! It was a pleasure to meet you.
Eliz, Great, interactive and inspiring event. I recently purchased the fitbit, and never new the 10,000 steps was the equalvent of 30 mins of Cardio. The “Why” for me is about being fit to enjoy my time, now that I no longer have the responsibility of raising a child, I can focus on me and what I want the next 30 years to look like.
I agree with Vilma, Thanks for inspiring women to take care of their hearts so we can live healthier, longer live!
Thanks Barbara! I hope you are enjoying the Fitbit… it is fun to find Fitbit friends too 🙂
