What are your 3 goals for this holiday season?
The quick downhill run to the first of the year can be a stressful and healthy habit challenging period of time. How do you keep holiday stress at bay, maintain your healthy habits, and enjoy the season more?
Set some goals!
That’s right! As odd as it may seem, setting, writing down, and actually sticking to three top priorities for the next six weeks can make a big difference in how you feel as we bounce into 2013.
Think about it.
What are the three things you want most over this holiday season?
- Do you want to spend time with family you rarely see.
- Do you want to keep spending under control and not stress about holiday bills?
- Do you want to keep the jingle jiggle away?
Knowing what you want is the first step.
Next write them down – share them with the people closest to you.
Then protect them!
Right now. Open your calendar and mark every available evening and weekend as committed to your holiday priorities. That way when you receive an invitation you can quite honestly say, “We have other plans.”
Those other plans may be a glass of wine in front of the fire, but those plans aren’t any less important.
Keep your goals handy and keep your season Low (or lower) Stress!
Wishing you a healthy, low stress Holiday Season!
