How Much Did You Move Today?
Sally Bee, who provides many of our favorite Heart Healthy recipes, had a great post today about matching your portion size to your activity level. Great point!
The more you move, the more fuel your body needs. The less you move, the more extra calories will turn to fat.
Check out what Sally Bee has to say about Meal Matching and check out this delicious recipe for Simple Delicious Salmon Parcels:
1 salmon fillet
10 cherry tomatoes
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp dried oregano
10 french green beans – ends removed
Take a large, thick foil sheet and double over to strengthen.
Make into a parcel shape using your fist as a mold.
Place the salmon fillet and all the other ingredients in a little pile in the middle
Add the honey and soy sauce last of all.
Seal the parcel up, ensuring there is a little steaming room inside. (This can be stored in the fridge as a ready meal and popped into an oven preheated to 350 F and cook for 25-30 minutes).
Serve with brown pasta, rice or bread
Eliz’s Notes: If you don’t like salmon try this will cod or tilapia. These packets work great on the grill too!
