Does eating healthy sound like eating bland to you?

Heart healthy meals don’t need to be boring. Spice them up!

I received a salt-free seasonings box from Penzeys Spices for Christmas, and our whole family is delighted!

A chicken breast sprinkled with the Tuscan Sunset seasoning and broiled is delicious.

Whole grain pasta, a splash of olive oil and the Pasta Sprinkle makes a tasty side dish.

Add a green salad (try the pasta sprinkle on that too!) and you’ve got a yummy, and heart healthy meal.

Last night we made fish tacos using the Adobo seasoning on the broiled orange roughy and mixed into some low-fat sour cream. Some whole grain tortillas, tomatoes, shredded lettuce and salsa — yum!

Check out some great recipes on the Penzey’s website!
Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring — or difficult, spice it up!
